Israeli soccer club Hapoel Tel Aviv defeated Lokomotiv Moscow 1-0 in Moscow, in the second leg, to win on aggregate, 3-1. Hapoel previously defeated English powerhouse Chelsea in the competition; their victory over Lokomotiv advances them to the final 16 of the UEFA Cup (the first time an Israeli side has advanced so far in Europe's second most prestigious club tournament).
