Since one of our posters requested more info on the process, we thought we'd start a new category on the forum... right now both Jimmy & Chazz are working full time on writing, recording and readying the project for a reading with actors (although the songs will just be performed as vocal/piano) - this will help the timing of the show and discover what areas need more work. This is a closed reading. The next step is a large reading in a theater (with invited guests, usually members of the theatrical community who can help with the development of the show); at this stage the show is 90% ready, and after a few "tweaks," it will open most likely in Chicago or Boston (or both) for a limited run (for a period of not more than 6 months total), at which point it moves to Broadway. It's a long, arduous process, but a magnificent collaboration. We'll keep you posted.
