Abramova was a member of the Soviet Union's women's volleyball team at the 1964 Tokyo Games, the first time indoor volleyball was an Olympic event. During the tournament, the Soviets did not lose a set in the preliminary round, defeating Romania, Korea, Poland, Hungary, and the United States. In the final, Abramova and the Soviet team lost to Japan, 3-0, and were awarded the silver medal.

Career Highlights:
Abramova was a member of the Soviet Union's 1967 European Championship team (one of her teammates was Valentina Vinogradova.
