Olympic Info:
One of the United States' top foil fencers in the 1960s, Glazer competed in two Olympiads. At the 1960 Games, he fenced in the individual foil competition but did not advance past the quarterfinals (he finished in second place in his first-round pool). In the team event, Glazer and the U.S. team reached the final round, but lost to Italy, 9-0, and finished in fifth place. Among Glazer's teammates were Jewish fencers Daniel Bukantz, and Harold Goldsmith.

Four years later at the 1964 Tokyo Games, Glazer competed solely in the team foil event. During the tournament, the U.S. defeated Romania and Argentina in the first round, but did not advance past the semifinals and finished out of the top six.

Career Highlights:
Glazer won a gold medal in team foil at the 1959 Pan American Games. A member of New York University's Athletic Hall of Fame, he was the NCAA foil champion in 1960.
