Alan H. Selig

The current commissioner of baseball, Selig bought the floudering Seattle Pilots in 1970, moved the team to Milwaukee, and renamed them the Brewers. In 1992, he took over as interim commissioner and in 1998, he was named permanent commissioner of Major League Baseball, after handing the day-to-day operations of the Brewers over to his daughter.
