Erenberg was a member of the U.S. gymnastics team at the 1932 Los Angeles Games where, for the first time in Olympic history, individual and team competitions were scored separately. Erenberg competed in a new Olympic event, club swinging (or Indian Clubs), and won the silver medal with a total of 26.7 points. One of the America's other gymnasts at the Games was rings' gold medalist, George Gulack.

Career Highlights:
Erenberg, who emigrated to the United States in 1912 with his family, was the 1932 National AAU Champion in the club swinging event. After attending UCLA, Erenberg (class of 1932) became a doctor in California.
