At 22 years of age, Lefkowitz was a member of the United States boxing team at the 1924 Paris Olympics, and competed in the middleweight division. Seeded No. 14, Adolph received a first round bye (he did not draw an opponent) before fighting a Canadian boxer named Black. Lefkowitz was knocked out in the second-round of the bout and was eliminated from the competition.

Career Highlights:
Lefkowitz captained the University of Virginia boxing team and according to the American Hebrew, was 'the only athlete to win a major letter in a minor sport' in 1924.
