Vinogradova was a member of the Soviet Union's women's volleyball team at two Olympiads in the 1960s. At the 1964 Tokyo Olympics, the first time indoor volleyball was an Olympic event, the Soviets did not lose a set in the preliminary round, and defeated Romania, Korea, Poland, Hungary, and the United States. In the final set, the Soviet team lost to Japan, 3-0, and were awarded the silver medal.

Vinogradova returned to the Olympics four years later, at the 1968 Mexico City Games. The Soviets went undefeated and won the gold medal.

Career Highlights:
A member of the Soviet National team in the late 1960s, Vinogradova won a gold medal at the 1967 European Championships. One of her teammates was Nelly Ambramova.
