Ed Krinsky

Ed is the son of former CCNY (City College of New York) player Nat Krinsky, and is currently the Director of Operations for the United States Basketball League. During his 1991-95 tenure as General Manager of the Long Island Surf, six players, including Anthony Mason and Michael Curry went on to play in the NBA. Following the 1995 season, Krinsky was appointed to his current position.

Career Highlights:
Krinsky played at Harvard in the 1950s and was a teammate of All-Ivy League player, Harry Sacks. Unfortunately, the Crimson were not a good team during Krinsky's college career. They finished 5-17 (0-12 in conference) in 1952 and 7-16 (2-10 in conference) in 1953. His senior season (1954), Krinsky was captain of the Harvard team and helped lead them to their best season during his career, finishing 9-16 (2-12 in conference).

After his playing days, Krinsky became a coach at Westbury High School on Long Island and posted a record of 278-124 during his 20-year career. He also served as an advance scout in the NBA for three years (two with the Detroit Pistons and one with the Houston Rockets). Krinsky is also the general manager of the New York Express of the new American Basketball Association.
