Joined on the squad by forward Barney Sedran, Perlman led City College to a record of 6-4, but played well in his final game against the University of Pennsylvania (the game was actually in the middle of the season, but Perlman left the team following the game - no reason is known). CCNY defeated the Quakers, led by forward Michael Saxe by a score of 37-16.
