Louis Nassau

Nassau played forward at Yale University in the 1920s and was one of the Ivy League's top scorers during his college career.

Career Highlights:

Nassau was a fantastic player for Yale University in the late 1920s. In 1928, he finished second in the conference in scoring with 7.8 points per game, earning a nod as second team All-Ivy League. That year Yale had a record of 13-8 (3-7 in conference).

In 1929, his senior season, Nassau was joined in Yale's frontcourt by sophomore forward Ed Horwitz and Yale improved their league record to 4-6. Nassau, who was named All-Ivy League honorable mention (as was Horwitz), led the team in scoring in conference play with 5.4 points per game (ninth best in the Ivy League). Yale had an overall record of 11-9 and Nassau averaged 6.0 points per game for the season; his 120 points placed him 24th among all Eastern players.
