Greenman, Scott

The starting shooting guard for the Princeton Tigers Greenman was the best three-point shooter on the team as a sophomore when he helped lead Princeton to a 20-7 record during the 2003-4 season. An honor student, Greenman volunteers at a local soup kitchen in his spare time.

During the 2004-05 season, the junior played well as Princeton finished the season with a record of 15-13 (6-8 in the Ivy League). Greenman averaged 8.6 points (third on the team), 2.3 assists (second on the team), and 2.4 rebounds per game.

Career Highlights:
Scott was a solid high-school player for St. Augustine Prep. During his tenure at the school, he lettered four times and was named the South Jersey Player of the Year in his senior year. The team had a remarkably successful run with Greenman in the starting five, going 97-17 over a four-year stretch. Scott still holds the school season records for both three-pointers and assists.

The Jersey native proved a useful bench player in his freshman year at Princeton. Averaging 10 minutes a game during the 2002-3 campaign, Scott scored 10 three-point shots, at 40% for the season. His season highlight came against Ursinus, as he nailed 3-3 from outside the arc, scoring a season high 11 points.

Greenman was the obvious choice as Princeton�s starting point guard in the 2003-04 campaign. He became the leading long range shooter on the team, hitting 40 of 110 attempts. He finished the season averaging 8.1 points and 30.3 minutes per game. Princeton�s Ivy League Champions exited in the first round of the NCAA tournament when they lost to Texas 66-49.
