Greenspun, Abraham

Greenspun was a three-year letterwinner in basketball at Ohio State University and captained the team as a senior in 1921-22. A member of both the Menorah Society and the national Jewish fraternity, Sigma Alpha Mu. Greenspun graduated from Ohio State in 1922 and became a lawyer in Cleveland.

Career Highlights:
Greenspun entered Ohio State in 1917 (he graduated from the school of law in 1922) and played on the basketball team from 1920-1922. In 1922, the Buckeyes finished 17-10 overall, but only 3-9 in conference play and finished in seventh place in the Big Ten. The following year, Ohio State dropped to 4-13 (2-10, ninth in conference), and then only finished 8-10 (5-7, tied for sixth) in Greenspun's senior season when he captained the squad. Greenspun was a starter for the Buckeyes in 1920 and 1922 (according to the official Ohio State web site).
