Jordan Robert Farmar

A highly-touted freshman at UCLA (University of California-Los Angeles), Farmar was a 2003 McDonald's All-America (as a high school senior) whose godfather is former major league baseball player, Eric Davis. A 6'2" guard, Farmar was the team's starting point guard during the 2004-05 season and was named Pac-10 Freshman of the Year and All-Pac 10 honorable mention (Rivals.com also named him the nation's Freshman of the Year). Farmar finished the regular season averaging 13.6 points (second on the team), 3.5 rebounds, and 5.3 assists (first on team and second overall in the conference) per game.

During the regular season, Farmar led the Bruins to a regular season record of 18-10 (11-7 in conference) and a berth in the NCAA tournament. Seeded No. 11 in the Albuquerque (West) Region, they played No. 6 Texas Tech in the first round, but lost by a score of 78-66. In the game, Farmar scored only three points (1-9 from the floor), but grabbed four rebounds and added five assists and two steals.

Career Highlights:
Born in Los Angeles, Farmar was one of the best players in the state of California as a junior and senior at Taft High School. In 2003, as a senior, he helped lead the team to its first-ever Los Angeles city championship (Farmar scored 29 points in the 64-60 victory, including four free throws to seal the win). A McDonald's All-America, Farmar was also named Los Angeles Times Player of the Year and the Los Angeles Co-Player of the Year.
