Daniel Aaron Wohl

A guard at the University of Michigan, Wohl, whose first name is pronounced 'Donnie' (according to the University of Michigan web site), transferred from SUNY-Binghamton prior to his sophomore season. A walk-on at Michigan, he appeared in 17 games (starting five) during the 2004-05 season.

Career Highlights:
Born in West Bloomfield, Wohl was a four-year letterwinner at West Bloomfield High School and was named All-State honorable mention as a senior in 2001. After graduating cum laude, Wohl then went to SUNY-Binghamton, where he played in 17 games during the 2001-02 season. He then left Binghamton and returned to Michigan, where, after sitting out the 2002-03 season, he walked-on to the varsity basketball team. The following season, he appeared in eight games as the Wolverines won the NIT - Wohl was named Academic All-Big Ten. He repeated the academic honor in 2004-05 and played a larger role on the basketball team, playing in 17 games, including five starts and received the Steve Grote Hustle Award. He finished the season with an average of 0.7 points, 0.8 steals, 1.5 assists per game. Michigan finished the year with a record of 13-18 (4-12 in conference).
