Piatagorsky, Jacqueline

Jacqueline was the daughter of French Baron Edouard de Rothschild and wife of Gregor Piatagorsky, the famed cellist. She established the Piatagorsky Foundation to Promote Chess, which awarded an annual prize of $10,000, the largest in chess history at the time, to the winner of the Piatagorsky Cup.
