Constantine played football at Syracuse University as a fullback and then played in a single NFL game for Staten Island. On September 28, 1929, he played in the first night game in the East as the Orangemen defeated Hobart College 77-0.

Career Highlights:
Born in New York City, Constantine was a big, bruising fullback for Syracuse in the late 1920s. In 1928, Syracuse had a record of 4-4-1, and then finished with a record of 6-3-0 the following year (he scored three touchdowns for the Orange that season). During his senior season of 1930, Constantine broke his shoulder in a scrimmage mid-way through the year, which ended his collegiate career. Nevertheless, his football career was not completely over as Constantine played in one NFL game for the Staten Island Stapletons (4-6-1) in 1931.
