Career Highlights:
Before playing professionally, Miller played fullback at Harvard in the mid-1920s. In October 1925, he played in a game that featured the oldest college in America (Harvard) against the second-oldest (William & Mary); Harvard won the game 14-7. That season, the Crimson had a record of 4-3-1. The following year, they finished 3-5-0 - Miller scored three touchdowns during the season.

After graduating in 1927, Miller played one season in the NFL with the Boston Bulldogs. In 1929, he played in seven games for Boston, who compiled a record of 4-4-0 to finish fifth in the NFL.
