Harold J. Moffie
Moffie played halfback at Harvard University in the late 1940s. Through the 2003 season, he still held school records for longest punt return for a touchdown (89-yards) and punt return yards in a game (137-yards). The 89-yard punt return is also the Ivy League record.

In 1948, against Holy Cross Moffie had a school-record 89-yard punt return for a touchdown which helped key a 20-13 Harvard victory. In that game, Hal also set the school record in total punt return yards with 137.
In the final game of the 1948 season, Moffie went 80-yards on the first play of the game in the Crimson's 20-7 win over Yale. That season, he was named AP All-Ivy League honorable mention although Harvard only had a record of 4-4-0. Moffie is a member of Brookline High School's school's athletic hall of fame.
