Isadore Schulman
Schulman played quarterback at Georgia Tech in the late 1920s and was a member of the 1928 Helms Foundation National Championship team.

In 1927, the Yellow Jackets had a record of 8-1-1 (7-0-1 in conference) and were co-champions of the Southern Conference. The following year, they finished the regular season 9-0-0 and won the Southern Conference (7-0-0).

In 1927, the Yellow Jackets had a record of 8-1-1 (7-0-1 in conference) and were co-champions of the Southern Conference. The following year, they finished the regular season 9-0-0 and won the Southern Conference (7-0-0).
That season, they faced Benny Lom and the Cal Bears in the Rose Bowl. Despite Lom's heroics, Schulman and Tech won the game, 8-7, after Cal's Roy Reigels recovered a fumble and ran the wrong way towards his own end zone. Although Lom stopped him short of the goal line, Tech blocked a punt on the following series for a safety -- and the difference in the game. Tech was considered the national champion that year.
In 1929, Schulman's last year on the team, Tech had a disappointing record of 3-6 (3-5 in conference).
