Career Highlights:
One of eight children, Koransky played his high school football at Crane High School and then attended Purdue University. As a sophome in 1925, he stepped into the starting lineup as a fullback and never relented it. That year, the Boilermakers had a record of 3-4-1 (0-3-1 in Big Ten). The following year, he played tailback and Purdue improved to 5-2-1 to finish fourth in the Big Ten (2-1-1). In 1927, his senior year, Koransky returned to the fullback position and Purdue finished the season 6-2-0 (2-2-0, fourth in conference).
