Nuiman was fiercely loyal to Betar Jerusalem, and was the perfect complement to the more creative Uri Malmilian. Danny was also a member of the Israeli National team in the late 1970s, appearing in eight international games.

A midfielder, Nuiman scored in the 1975-76 State Cup final as Betar won their first-ever title with a 2-1 victory over Maccabi Tel Aviv. Three seasons later, Betar raced Maccabi to the Israel League title, but finished in second place. In the State Cup Final, however, Nuiman scored again as Betar again beat Maccabi, 2-1. After his playing days ended, Nuiman coached several teams, including city rivals Hapoel Jerusalem. He has become a notable commentator on Israeli radio.
