Seymour Greenberg
Greenberg was a clay-court specialist in the 1940's. Ranked among the top ten U.S. players five different times, Seymour was No. 5 in both 1943 and 1944. His sister Toby played in the Maccabiah Games in Israel.

Career Highlights:
Seymour began showing his tennis promise in high school, winning back-to-back Illinois High School singles championships in 1936 and 1937. He later attended Northwestern, leading the school to Big Ten titles in 1940 and 1942. He won the Big Ten singles championship in 1940 and 1941, as well as the doubles championship from 1940-1942. Greenberg's three doubles titles still rank No. 1 all-time in Big Ten history. In 2000, Seymour was inducted into the Northwestern Athletics Hall of Fame.
