Dustin Villepigue
During the season, Runnin' Rebels had a record of 16-13 (7-7 in the Mountain West Conference) and Dustin averaged 3.9 points (seventh on the team), 3.0 rebounds (third on the team), and 0.4 assists per game. The Rebels received a bid to the NIT (National Invitational Tournament) and defeated Arizona State, 89-79 in the first round. They next play South Carolina in the second round (date to be determined).

Career Highlights:
Dustin is considered one of the finest players Simi Valley High, the biggest high-school sports program in California, has ever seen. He lettered in his three years as a starter at the school. Villepigue was particularly influential in his senior year as he rang up 23 points and took down 12.7 rebounds per game. That year he was awarded Marmonte League MVP, All-Ventura County, All-CIF first team and All-State second team.
Villepigue spent his freshman year at Gongaza University, where he was redshirted in the 2001-02 season. In the 2002-03 campaign, Dustin was used sparingly and averaged 2.0 points per game.
The California native spent 2003-04 at Dixie State College in St. George, Utah. At the community college, Villepigue finished with 9.3 points and snagged 5.3 rebounds per game, starting 20 of 28 games. Dixie State College went 20-8 for the year.
